Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3: 10-12

I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God taketh from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

Scripture Commentary: We have eternal value in God

What good are your works in life if some of what you do is not for the glory of God?

We can enjoy our work when we remember that the fruit of our labor is a gift from God. We are the result of his works. He has given us the pleasure to find enjoyment in the gifts he has given us, if we keep him in our life.

We can never be completely satisfied with earthly pleasures and pursuits without God. God created us and because of this we have a spiritual thirst.  We have eternal value and nothing but the eternal God can truly satisfy you. We yearn for the kind of perfect world that can only be found in following him.

If you keep God in your life you will see the glimpse of his perfection. We can only see a glimpse but with a loving attitude, satisfaction will come in spreading his gospel.

Trust him now and do his work here on earth and you will have joy when you see him in the morning.
