How To Prepare For Your Destination

Scripture: John 14: 1-2

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Scripture Commentary: Jesus goes to prepare a place for you.

You prepare to take a trip but you have no need for Mapquest, or a map itself. When do you depart? You don’t know but the ticket has been stamped. This trip is planned; however, the destination is in question. You decide the destination based on who you serve during your life here on earth.

There is a place called hell with an eternal fire, and there is a place with love and peace. Romans 1:18 says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.”

2 Peter 3: 13 says, “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Again, there are two destinations and your ticket has been stamped. You don’t need to pack. No clothes or money is needed.

Which place are you going to?

Will you go see God, Our Father, or Satan, the fallen one? If you are on the wrong path there is time to turn to Jesus and ask for forgiveness and repent. If you read this, then you still have time.
