Jesus Will Prepare a Place for You

Scripture: John 14: 1-3

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Scripture Commentary:

You can feel the love Christ has for you when you read these three verses. He is the servant going to prepare a place for you. He died for you, and is waiting to serve you.

The question is are you serving Him? Jesus’s words show that the way to eternal life, though unseen, is as secure as your trust in Him. In this chapter He tells us the way and how to get there.

Follow His words.

By uniting our life with His, we are united with God. Although the details of eternity are unknown, we need not fear because Jesus has prepared the way! Until then, He has given us The Holy Spirit to comfort and help us spread the Gospel of Our Lord.

When our lives are intertwined with His, He will help us walk through adversity without sinking into debilitating lows. Likewise, He will help us manage prosperity without moving to deceptive highs.

The true joy of living with Jesus Christ will keep you in His hands. Jesus will give you peace if you accept Him. He is preparing to spend eternity with you.

  1. if we are not walking in true love and light, then there is no true fellowship with jesus, i am penecostal-baptist,and still believe in the core and basic teachings of the lord jesus,he was and is a simple man,he had no connection to the church for he was the church,he had no bond with the church,he was the bond of the church,in seeking him in spirit and in truth,we become less ourselves, more him
